The property is located less than 30 minutes from Fort Lauderdale, in fast-growing Pembroke Pines, FL.
The property was built in 1997 and has fast become a top destination for serious golfers and families alike.
In addition to a double-tiered driving range, the site offers 2 miniature golf courses, batting cages, a pro-shop and a small food & beverage operation.
The property is located on land owned by Broward County, and is operated under a long-term lease agreement between the County and KemperSports.
The property is adjacent to CB Smith Park, one of the busiest parks in the county and is very successful.

Position
Summary:
Responsible for check-in of all activities, recording proper POS sales, selling golf shop merchandise to customers, handling cash and credit transactions, answering phones, interacting with patrons, and providing information and handling request and complaints with a positive attitude and in a friendly, professional manner.
Assists with inventory control and restocking, maintains the cleanliness of the golf shop and ensures all displays are properly organized.
Position Accountabilities:
Opening and closing responsibilities of front counter.
This includes:
recording opening/closing cash counts, tokens and membership keys; POS and Range systems are up and running; counter area is fully functional; adequate amount of supplies to function (receipt rolls, paperwork, scorecards, staples, etc.
) Be fully knowledgeable of all activities and programs.
Sell activities, programs and special events and/or provide suggestions to patrons as appropriate to meet their needs.
Assist customers with special requests.
Collect cash money or process credit cards, record sales transactions and issue receipts for sales of all activities, merchandise, food & beverage and special events.
At end of shift, reconcile all tickets and verify payment tenders vs.
shift reports.
Answer phones, maintain pleasant and professional telephone manner at all times.
Schedule special events and handle customer inquiries and/or complaints in accordance with operating policies and procedures.
Take messages for patrons who may be on facility grounds.
Interact with members, guests and patrons in a congenial and professional manner.
Assist patrons with information regarding activities, membership programs, special events, facility activities, policies, etc.
Assist in restocking of inventory (merchandise and F&B), arranging and displaying golf shop inventory.
Assist with physical inventory at month end in accordance with inventory procedures.
Ensure that the golf shop is maintained per Company cleanliness and appearance standards.
This includes all dusting, vacuuming, wiping, windexing, maintaining toiletry supplies and fully stocked merchandise displays.
Be aware of all customers in merchandise areas and to assist the safety of property assets.
Assist with organizing of special events.
Ensure efficient operation and coordination of golf shop and other services as applicable.
Assist with organizing and maintaining ancillary services such membership programs and driving range facilities.
Perform other duties as appropriate.
Position
Qualifications:
Must possess skills to repair and operate equipment.
while exhibiting a team first attitude.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must be able to work both Saturday and Sunday and at nights Must be able to handle heavy customer traffic Stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 8 hours at a time Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 5 lbs constantly Based on demands, you may be required to stay beyond scheduled work shift hours.
All responsibilities must be completed before leaving.
Demonstrated ability to operate golf course equipment.
Demonstrated quality verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision.
Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
Must have a working knowledge of computers, operating equipment and scheduling.
Must have reliable transportation.
