Due to our exponential growth in the parts department, we are now interviewing for full time Service Advisor, ready to join our motivated team!
Job Description:
The Service Advisor is a professional who assists customers at our Dealership, to understand their car's maintenance or repair needs and answer questions before the vehicle is schedules for service.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge and experience of automotive products, repairs, and parts.
Secondary education in the automotive field or equivalent work experience.
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate customer needs to workable technician orders.
Basic computer skills & inventory Core system, including word processing and database tools, are required.
(CDK experience a plus) Organizational skills including the ability to schedule appointments, meet with customers and ensure that work is done properly.
Exceptional customer service skills based on experience.
Basic mathematic skills to prepare and process bills and customer payments.
Continuing education and knowledge acquisition of the function and repair of newer vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Greet customer and offer excellent customer service from intake and release of their vehicles.
Translate customer reported problems to actionable work orders for technicians to complete.
Order necessary parts from suppliers and double check that they are delivered to technicians.
Ensure that automotive work provided to customers, meets company quality standards.
Invoice and collect payment from customers for services rendered.
Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding services.
Maintain customer records and enter data into computer data bases.
Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent GED.
Previous experience preferred.
Basic computer skills.
Requirements:
Maintain a customer satisfaction atmosphere by adhering to the safety & security standards and procedures of the Dealership.
Update your job knowledge by participating in the prescribed educational opportunities at the Dealership.
Staying abreast of new products and maintaining a required level of knowledge of the various manufactures' certifications and safety requirements.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, possible risk of electrical shock and vibration.
